What's the cost difference?
Self-service is per-machine: $4, $6, or $7 for the washer plus $1 per 16 minutes on the dryer. A typical load runs about $8 in machine costs. Wash & fold is per-pound: $1.75/lb, with $10 off your first drop-off order. A small drop-off (under 10 lb) can land close to a self-service trip; a big drop-off costs more in dollars but saves the whole trip. See full pricing for both.
How long does each take?
Self-service is time on-site: about 28 minutes for the wash, one or two 16-minute dryer cycles, plus folding time — plan on roughly an hour if you keep on top of your machines. Wash & fold is time on our side, not yours: drop the bag and go. Same-day service is usually available for morning drop-offs, and we text you the moment your bag is ready.
What's actually included in wash & fold?

- Wash in the right cycle and water temperature for each pile.
- High-efficiency dry on appropriate heat settings.
- Hand-fold every item.
- Pair every sock we can.

Which is better for a bulky item?
For a king comforter, duvet, or heavy blanket, both options work. Self-service means renting the 30-lb front-load washer ($7) and drying long enough to fully cure the fill — read our comforter guide for the details. Wash & fold means dropping the item with the counter and letting us handle it.
When is each the right pick?
- Choose self-service if you're already free for an hour, you're happy folding your own laundry, and you want the cheapest option per dollar.
- Choose wash & fold if you're squeezing laundry around work, you're catching up on a backlog, or you'd rather pay per pound than lose the time.
Do you offer pickup or delivery?
No — we're a drop-off shop. Bring your bag to the counter at 3376 25th St. If you're weighing that against machine cost, factor in the walk, the time, and the fact that we'll text you the moment your laundry is ready.
