Laundromat tips: get in and out faster.

Answer-first: pick the right-sized washer for your load, start your last wash by 8pm, use the PayRange app so you're not counting coins, and book a 15-minute drop-off window if you're going wash & fold.

AnswerBring detergent (or grab a pod at our counter), pick the machine size that matches your load, start your last wash by 8:00pm so it finishes before we close at 9pm, pay with coin or the PayRange app, and book a 15-minute drop-off window if you're doing wash & fold.

How do I pick the right washer size?

Overfilling a washer is the number-one cause of "why does this still smell?" — cram it and the detergent can't circulate. Our rough sizing:

  • 14-lb top-load ($4) — a couple of outfits, gym clothes, one small load.
  • 20-lb eco front-load ($6) — the usual hamper: shirts, jeans, socks, a set of sheets.
  • 30-lb front-load ($7) — big loads, king comforters, sleeping bags, or two hampers combined.

Should I bring detergent?

Bringing your own is cheapest and lets you pick your scent. If you forgot, grab a pod at the counter — one pod is plenty for a normal load; use two only if you packed the drum full. Front-loaders like less soap than you'd think.

What's the fastest way to pay?

PayRange is faster than coins. Install the app once, add a balance, and tap to start any machine. Coins still work at every washer and dryer — no cards on the machines. Ask at the counter about EBT eligibility for wash & fold drop-offs.

What time should I show up?

We open at 6:00am and close at 9:00pm every day. A full wash cycle averages about 28 minutes; dryers run $1 per 16 minutes. To finish before we close, start your last wash by 8:00pm — that leaves the wash cycle plus one dryer cycle inside our hours.

Should I book a drop-off window?

Walk-ins are welcome any time we're open. If you want zero waiting, book a 15-minute drop-off window from the wash & fold page. Bring the bag, hand it off, and get on with your day — we'll text the moment it's ready.

Any small habits that speed things up?

  • Pre-sort at home into two bags (lights + darks) so you can start two washers at once.
  • Zip zippers and turn dark items inside-out to reduce lint pickup.
  • Bring a book or a laptop — the wash is roughly 28 minutes, plenty of time to knock out something else.
  • Empty pockets, especially of tissues and receipts — they turn into confetti in the dryer.
